In 2017, JKS Industries was contracted by the City and County of Denver to perform asbestos abatement and structural demolition on properties acquired by the city in order to make room for the massive National Western Complex upgrades. We performed all necessary permitting for asbestos abatement and demolition provided asbestos abatement and removal, RBM disposal, structural demolition, and waste disposal which included material segregation of recyclable materials for landfill diversion, meeting project goals. In addition, JKS ensured that the remaining ground was compacted to the client’s standards. The project was completed within the given schedule and budget. This property is just one of many that JKS will demolish in an ongoing effort to revamp the area around the Denver Coliseum to make way for the new complex.
