In 2015, JKS was originally contracted by Denver Public Schools to remove and dispose of casework adhered to asbestos containing CMU in twelve classrooms. As the work was completed, more abatement tasks were added to the contract. JKS performed additional demolition of casework, abatement of asbestos containing drywall and joint compound, abatement of additional asbestos containing CMU block filler and VAT, and removal of CMU block filler for new window openings. The work was performed over summer vacation and within the budget and schedule set by Denver Public Schools
